In photography, plants are comparatively easy subjects to shoot: They don't really move - ok, carnivorous plants move, and the wind moves plants - but at least they can't run, or fly, or swim, away. But I will occasionally get lucky and capture a mostly in-focus animal. There was this one tree snail in The Everglades that was a bad nature photographer's dream ... but I digress.
